Meet Angelique
ANGELIQUE HERNANDEZ
Providing care for patients with acute and chronic pain
Angelique Hernandez, MSN, FNP-C, received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University in 2013. Driven by a desire to expand her scope of practice, she returned to Grand Canyon University to earn her Master of Science in Nursing.
She spent 11 years as a registered nurse with a diverse background that includes neurosurgery, neurology, and medical-surgical telemetry float nursing. Alongside her clinical work, she served as adjunct faculty at Phoenix College of Nursing for seven years, where she mentored and educated nursing students.
Her clinical interests led her to interventional pain management, where she found purpose in supporting patients living with chronic pain through compassionate, multifaceted care. She believes in meeting patients where they are, recognizing that every journey is unique, and striving to offer approaches that reflect both medical expertise and human empathy.
Beyond her professional achievements, her greatest accomplishment is being a mother. She treasures time spent with her children, family, and friends, embracing new adventures and valuing the “village” that has supported her along the way. This sense of community inspires her to provide the same support and care for her patients.
